Eastboard Consoles became a division of A/S Custom in 2005, bringing over 35 years’ experience in providing unique, high-quality technical consoles to end users, systems integrators, and architects worldwide. Eastboard continues to develop unique designs for each new project, aided by 3D modeling and photorealistic renderings to illustrate the project as it will ultimately appear. Our ongoing commitment is to deliver the finest professional consoles for media broadcasting and technical control rooms, by blending innovative design and ADA ergonomics with top quality and thoughtful functionality. Sometimes only custom will do. The founder of Eastboard Consoles, Steve Goldberg, is Chief Design Officer of the new division.
Combining A/S Custom’s core strengths in CNC manufacturing with award-winning designs results in furniture which is functional and precise, elegant and durable. The products we produce together regularly meet, and sometimes even surpass, our clients’ highest expectations; our attentive client service keeps your project running smoothly.
Console design has changed with the times. Media broadcasting is simpler today, but equipment changes more frequently, and we’ve developed a modular console system to make changing working configurations quick and easy: RACKBLOCKS. Consisting of metal frames which hold the functional elements (BLOCKS), this system provides mounting tracks for monitor arms or other equipment, internal wireways, sliding access panels, and adjustable feet. Then, the interchangeable turrets, base racks, and other blocks can be added as needed, or replaced to meet new operational requirements.
